Cast in silver from sheet wax moulded over a sculpted clay figure. Inspired by a Henry Moore drawing of figures under blankets. The surface of the silver has a subtle skin texture with creases and blemishes much like a human body! I have lightly oxidised it before gently sanding it back to emphasise and soften the texture. The reverse side carries a stainless steel pin annd safety catch. It bears an official sterling silver hallmark with my makers initials. Reclining Nude measures 35mm x 30mm and weighs 16.3gms.
